Hi! I’m Jennifer, a self-taught cheesemaker in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Daisy, our first milk cow, freshened in the spring of 2021 and I’ve been slinging milk into cheese ever since.
With cheesemaking, the learning curve is steep and the variations are endless which makes it a wonderful creative outlet. Family favorites include Colby, Camembert, and Gruyère. In addition to hard cheeses, I make yogurt by the gallon, softer lactic acid cheeses, butter, and ice cream.
